1. About These Terms

These terms apply when you buy products from StreamView GmbH ("we," "us," or "StreamView") through our website as a private consumer. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

What this means for you: These are the rules that govern your purchase. Different terms may apply if we agree to them in writing.

2. Our Product Listings

Our product displays are invitations for you to make an offer to buy. They are not binding promises that products will be available at the listed price.

3. How to Order

Your Order Process:

1. You place an order → This is your binding offer to buy
2. We send order confirmation → We acknowledge receipt (not acceptance yet)
3. Contract formed → When we send shipping confirmation OR deliver your goods

Important: If you don't receive confirmation or goods within 14 days, no contract exists and you won't be charged.

4. Product Availability & Delivery

If items are unavailable: We'll notify you within 14 days of your order.
Delivery timeframe: Within 14 days of shipping confirmation, unless prevented by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
Partial deliveries: We may deliver your order in parts unless you specifically reject this option.

5. Shipping Details

Our responsibility: We handle shipping costs and risks until delivery to you.
Shipping partners: Typically, Dachser SE (from Germany) with final delivery by DHL, DSV, UPS, or similar services.
Our choice: We select the shipping method and carrier.

6. Prices & Payment

What's included: All prices include packaging and applicable taxes.

Payment methods:

• PayPal
• Instant bank transfer
• Credit card

When payment is due:

• Immediate methods (PayPal, instant transfer): Upon contract formation
• Other methods: When goods are shipped

Late payment: 4% above the base interest rate if payment is overdue.

7. Ownership Rights

Until full payment: We retain ownership of delivered goods until you've paid all amounts owed.
If payment fails: You must return goods within 14 days of our request.
What this means for you: The products aren't fully yours until they're paid for completely.

8. Your Right to Cancel (Withdrawal Right)

Your cancellation period: 14 days after receiving goods, no reason needed.

Items you CANNOT return:

• Opened audio/video recordings
• Computer software with a broken seal
• Digital downloads (with your prior agreement)

How to cancel: Contact us in writing within the timeframe.

9. Product Quality & Our Responsibility

Your rights: Full statutory warranty protection for defective products.
What we cover: Defects that existed when you received the product.

Your remedies:

• Repair or replacement
• Price reduction
• Contract cancellation

What we don't cover:

• Misuse or inappropriate use
• Normal wear and tear
• Incorrect assembly by you

10. Which Laws Apply

Consumer purchases: Your home country's consumer protection laws apply.
Business purchases: Austrian law applies (excluding UN sales conventions).

11. Confidentiality

Your obligation: Keep any business information you learn about us confidential.
What this means: Don't share our internal business details with others without permission.

12. Legal Matters

Business location: StreamView headquarters (unless law requires otherwise).
Disputes: We don't participate in online dispute resolution platforms.
